Our Editing Services
Our experienced team will help you polish your manuscript to professional standards — catching errors, smoothing rough prose, and making sure every detail holds up under scrutiny.
Proofreading
Final review for grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors. Perfect for manuscripts that have already been through content editing.
Copy Editing
In-depth editing for clarity, style, consistency, and readability. We ensure your prose is polished and professional while preserving your voice.
Technical Editing
Specialized editing for academic and technical manuscripts, including mathematical notation, citations, and scientific terminology.
Developmental Editing
Substantive editing of your manuscript's structure, argumentation, and overall effectiveness. For drafts that need more than surface-level polish.
Pricing
One rate for all services — proofreading, copy editing, technical editing, and developmental editing. Most manuscripts require 1-2 hours per 5,000 words for proofreading, or 2-4 hours for copy editing. We'll provide an estimate after reviewing your sample.
Our Editor
Conna Craig
Lead Editor
Conna is a Harvard graduate with over 10 years of editing experience. She has edited 36 nonfiction books across philosophy, science, business, and psychology. Her meticulous attention to detail and deep understanding of nonfiction writing ensures your manuscript meets the highest standards.
LaTeX & Overleaf Editing
Looking for an editor who works directly in LaTeX or Overleaf? Unlike most editing services that require Word documents, we edit directly in your LaTeX source files.
Direct LaTeX Editing
We edit your .tex files directly, preserving all your formatting, cross-references, and LaTeX commands.
Overleaf Collaboration
Share your Overleaf project with us and we'll edit collaboratively with tracked changes and comments.
Why this matters for technical authors:
- No conversion artifacts or lost formatting
- Mathematical equations stay intact
- BibTeX citations remain properly linked
- Your project compiles correctly after editing
- Comments appear exactly where they belong
Whether you're writing an academic monograph, a technical manual, or a nonfiction book with complex formatting, we understand the LaTeX workflow and won't accidentally break your document.
Perfect for: Academic authors, scientists, technical writers, and anyone using LaTeX or Overleaf who needs a professional editor familiar with markup-based documents.
